Vintage Hippo Stick Pin

From the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and made in 1985, this charming hippo pin is absolutely adorable. It's a 2 inch stickpin with hard glass enamel and gold plate.

Original description from the Museum included.

"William" inspired by a faience  hippopotamus in the Egyptian Galleries, is the unofficial mascot of the Metropolitan Museum.
