Made in the 1980's by Kjell Engman, a Swedish glass maker. It is a molded clear glass bowl with 4 different scenes of midsummer dancers celebrating under the trees. I believe it is one of four different bowls in the "Rhapsody Series".
Here is a quote from the artist:
“In creating a design, I start with the circle of life. I like to make glass that you can feel, glass that appeals to all our senses. I want to paint pictures and tell stories all at the same time.”
Kjell Engman

Kjell Engman is frequently commissioned for public works both in Sweden and abroad.

This is a nice, solid, heavy bowl weighing about 3.5 pounds. The top measures 7.25 inches across and the bottom is 6 inches in width. It stands 5.5 inches high.
There are no cracks, chips or scratches. The original tag is still on it.
The Kosta Boda Glass works have been in business since 1742.

The Swedish Kosta Rhapsody Dancers Bowl Vintage KJell Engman is a sensational customer favorite, and we hope you like it just as much.
