Dogwood Flower and Fabric Butterfly Polymer Clay Sculpture with Glass Dome Display
This one of a kind handmade and hand painted polymer sculpture is titled "Evening Dogwood" and is #12 in the series. It depicts three imaginary butterflies with dogwood flower blossoms and opening buds.
This is a mixed media sculpture including, fabric, copper wire, black onyx, and polymer clay. There is a wire armature inside the fired polymer clay for support.

The details are all hand painted with acrylic paint.
This sculpture is fragile and comes with the glass dome to cover and protect it.

It took over 40 hours to complete in 2005.
