Handmade Moonstone Fused Silver Brooch

Sterling silver pieces fused together and set with a grey blue moonstone cabochon create this one of a kind magnetic brooch. If you look closely, you can see a shell with a tiny silver pearl inside it. I used wire to make the kelp and underwater grasses.
I used a torch to fuse sterling silver sheet and wire together at around 1600 degrees. Creating each piece is an adventure, because although I have a lot of control and experience, silver sometimes melts in unexpected ways, making each piece one of a kind.
Titled "Moonstone Reef" because it looks like a coral reef to me.
It has a non-damaging magnetic clasp to hold it on any type of clothing securely using my special system of 4 neodymium magnets.
It makes a beautiful addition to any outfit, and will also hold a scarf without putting holes in it.
It is 1.5 inch x 1 inch in size.
