TOPAZ REEF
My unique system of 4 neodymium magnets will hold this exquisite fused sterling silver magnetic brooch on an evening gown or a suit equally well without damage. It works on any type of clothing and makes a great conversation piece and fashion statement.
I started out by fusing tiny pieces of sterling silver sheet and wire together at around 1600 degrees. Then I set three faceted 3 mm aquamarine stones onto the piece along with a 4 mm blue topaz stone. Cold pour enamel in transparent green finished the piece.
It is 2 & 3/8 inches x 1 & 1/8 inches in size.
This is a one of a kind piece, signed, dated and titled "Topaz Reef" on the back.
